Programs

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child in our school.  RJA's educational program is designed to honor and challenge each student. We are a Science Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, Math (STREAM) school.

We look forward to getting to know your child during our admission process—every step allows us to develop a deep understanding of an applicant and their family.  We invite you to tour our campus when school is in session to experience RJA firsthand.

Currently, prekindergarten and kindergarten is our largest entry point, with a limited number of available spaces per year. In 1st through 8th grades, openings occur by attrition.

Pre-kindergarten through 8th-grade applications are accepted on a rolling basis. All applicants, including siblings, must submit a completed registration packet (see right side of this page).  The forms may be printed and must be filled out completely.  The forms will need to be completed and returned to the school office before the school can consider the applicant for admission.

Timeless Teachings in a Changing World

Standards are what learners should know (content) and be able to do (skills).  They serve as the framework for curriculum development. The standards used in all South Atlantic Conference schools are established by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist Office of Education.  These standards reflect the Adventist worldview across the K-12 curricula as well as the integration of national and state standards.

The Adventist worldview accepts the Bible as the standard by which everything else is measured. Four key concepts emerge from a biblical worldview that can be used as a lens for curriculum development, as well as informing the essential questions and big ideas of any content area:

  1.  Creation - What is God’s intention?

  2.  Fall - How has God’s purpose been distorted

  3. Redemption - How does God help us to respond

  4. Re-creation - How can we be restored in the image of God?
